Company and Faculty
Caroline Blair began her pre-professional training at Community Ballet in Huntsville, Alabama at age 13. She furthered her training with American Ballet Theatre and the Joffrey Ballet. Upon graduating from the University of Arizona with degrees in Linguistics and Russian & Slavic Studies, she returned to Huntsville Ballet as a dancer and faculty member. Miss Blair danced the role of Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Tsarevna in The Firebird, the Lilac and Violente Fairies in productions of The Sleeping Beauty, and numerous roles in The Nutcracker. She has also performed soloist roles in Romeo and Juliet, Paquita, The Magic Flute and many others. Miss Blair is also a member of Roots Dance Project, which won Audience Choice Ensemble at the 2016 Atlanta Fringe Festival. She has taught and choreographed for organizations throughout the southeastern United States. This is her second season with Chattanooga Ballet.
